Through our competitions, we strive to validate and motivate our participants to be successful, compassionate human beings. Every individual has a unique voice. With over two dozen competitions, step in, challenge yourself, and go for gold!
MIST brings you into a space full of talented people who share your interests and others who challenge how you think. Everyone is welcome, with any belief or none. Our topics and workshops push you to build a stronger understanding of Islam and Muslim communities.
We give you a platform to build real confidence and carry yourself with professionalism. You practice presenting, speaking, and solving problems under pressure. Every participant gets the chance to discover strengths they did not know they had!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
MIST hosts annual tournaments across 16+ regions nationwide, with over 35 competitions at each event.
From sports and team events like debate and improv to individual arts and writing, there is something for everyone. You prepare in advance, then compete in a fast-paced, weekend-long tournament.
Top regional winners move on to represent MIST Atlanta at the international level. Along the way, you attend workshops, build connections, and close out the weekend at the awards ceremony.
